AUDIT/LAYER is a personal editorial project that examines technology through an assurance lens: how systems are built, protected, controlled, and audited.
An academic project, built with intention.
AUDIT/LAYER began while developing articles for the IT Auditing and Secure Operations course. While the assignment required the articles, I decided to take the idea further and turn it into a space for exploring how a technical idea becomes content, visual identity, and a complete digital experience.
The first articles focus on auditing tools and artificial intelligence in auditing. The editorial framework BUILD → SECURE → CONTROL → AUDIT connects those topics with real engineering, security, controls, and evidence practices.

AUDIT/LAYER was created by Angélica Rosario Maisonet, a Software Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and professional experience in web development.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, with an emphasis in Software Engineering, Database and Secure Operations. This project brings together her practical experience in technology with her interest in IT controls, security, and auditing.
